Workers Compensation

The Workers Compensation Scheme financially support a person who has been injured at work

How can we support you?

Day One Accredited Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists aim is to support injured workers to optimise their recovery and return to work. This is generally achieved through evidence‑based clinical intervention and management using functional exercises in a safe and effective way. We focus on using exercise as a tool of treatment that reflects the demands of work and work activities.

Research shows that:

  • The longer a worker is away from work, the less chance they have of ever returning - Staying active and exercising can help reduce pain symptoms and help speed up the recovery process both at work and at home.

  • Staying active after injury reduces pain symptoms and helps workers return to their usual activities at home and at work sooner.
